Irregular Seasoning is loosely inspired by the life of the French Marchioness de Brinvilliers (1630-1676). The Marchioness is a depressed woman of the French aristocracy who leads a dull life in her castle, dominated by her husband, an "important" man, her small daughter and the servants.
Attempting to end her days with rat poison, she resolves to test it on one of her maids. Rather sucessfully. She discovers a passion for poisoning, and she considers it an art.
One by one, she kills her husband, her daughter and the greater part of the well-bred people that come around for a visit. She finds her life’s purpose, yet her life ends with her being burned at the stake. In her finest garments, she happily meets her end having finally done something with her life. But even the Marquise knows, all good things must come to an end.

In April 2005, less than a year before shooting their own debut film Electroma, the French electronic group Daft Punk directed themselves in a video for the song 'Robot Rock', from their third album, Human After All. The video finds Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo in black leather and robot masks performing on a dark, neon-lit stage resembling somewhat the sets for the BBC's flagship pop music show Top of the Pops in the late eighties. Surrounding the stage, a p...

“There are 130 music bands in the Bergamo area”. Gianluigi often talks about this, and he
really looks amazed by a musical and social phenomenon that seems to defy passing
time: how strange that, in an age when music is so easily accessible, someone should
spend years learning how to play an instrument just for the pleasure of playing it with a
bunch of fellow dilettanti – the latter word being used in its positive meaning, of course.
This is the starting point of a journey into Gianluigi Trovesi’s music and personal memories
along the many years of his activity both in the Nembro band and in the territory hosting it.
