Once again I had the pleasure of attending the Red Carpet event at the 52nd Chicago International Film Festival this month. There were several stars in attendance. Aside from the local celebrities like Chaz Ebert and Michael Kutza there were some big names: French director Claude Lelouch, French actress Valerie Perrin, actor Chin Han from Singapore, actor Michael Rooker, director John McNaughton and last but not least Geraldine Chaplin.
A pleasure to see a film brought to a new place, at the Italian island of Pantelleria with 4 people living out a holiday in a house share, and a wondrous marriage of Italian and british humour.

Rachel McAdams dazzled fans and press in white dress and red lipstick on Friday night for the Santa Barbara film festival. McAdams was honored alongside Michael Keaton and Mark Ruffalo for their work in SPOTLIGHT.
"Great job," I heard McAdams' publicist / assistant say to her at the end of the red carpet bombardment. McAdams took a deep breath, "Thank you." She's sweet!
