The Festival focuses on showcasing diverse cultural and heritages films, supports the creation and advancement of innovative and artistic cinematic works of both emerging and seasoned filmmakers, and proudly embraces the passion, independent spirit, and vision of these talented artists. With the integration of the local community and educational institutions into all aspects of the Festival, the Festival stimulates an interest in the study and appreciation of film and encourages people of all ages and backgrounds to participate and share the harmonious universe.
 Universe Multicultural Film FestivalUniverse Multicultural Film Festival (UMFF) is an exciting and educational experience that opens the eyes and minds of its audience through the power of film. This special event comes to Palos Verdes on early Spring, hosted in the Promenade on the Peninsula, the RHCC Community Center, the Peninsula Center Library and Rolling Hills Estate. UMFF will showing films from around the world with a variety of content within the categories of Student, Short and Feature. There are films from 20+ countries and expecting 5,000+ in attendance in UMFF, where international film stars delegation share the screen with young and soon-to-be-known talents. There will be a number of cultural events, filmmaker tributes, industry seminars and gala receptions. The delegations of film makers, actors, producers and studio heads from many countires will attend the UMFF to support their productions. All films will be premiered to American audiences followed by Q&A sessions with the artistic team accompany each film.
