Over 2,000 films were reviewed for screening consideration in the past year, when AmDocs was named one of the Top 100 Best Reviewed Film Festivals in the World by FilmFreeway.com.

The American Documentary Film Festival's 13th annual event takes place  March 21 -25, 2024.

The Festival is located in the beautiful resort community of Palm Springs, California. Ideally located 2 hours east of Hollywood, this film mecca boasts a favorable viewing audience and a proven track record of supporting independent films. Already the largest documentary festival on the West Coast of the United States, we feature documentary features, doc shorts, and animated shorts from filmmakers around the world. Our main objective is to promote a world vision of film as seen through the eyes of the filmmaker.
