HomeBase Lounge is a social venue, located in the heart of Berlin. We  specialize in providing conference, reception, and party space for the tech- and social-media sector.

An offline meeting space for online people

Although we originated as a temporary festival lounge during the Berlinale 2004, people encouraged us to keep it going. We heard them, and since then we´ve expanded our operations to provide a dedicated venue for the technology and media communities.

Our goal is to provide a hospitable space where wired-in people can connect with each other face-to-face. Connect with us and become a Facebook fan, follow us on Twitter, or ask Sarah (almost) anything.

This is how we do things:

We love our work, because we believe that business is most fun if we all play creatively together. Here are the principles we value most:

• Fast quotes: we guarantee to give you a precise quote for your conference (be it traditional, BarCamp, Open-Space),  reception, or party within 48 hours. We´re still working on getting it done in 24 hours (which we manage to do with our invoices, so it's only fair).
• Inspired/creative suggestions: we really think long and hard about every proposal - so bear with us if it does take 48 hours for us to come up with a great idea.
• Realistic and honest opinions: we can't do everything; neither is our space suitable for any kind of event. If we think that your event is too big or small, too thick or thin, or anyhow not really perfectly suited for HomeBase Lounge, we´ll gladly suggest an alternative space. We won´t take it personally, and our referrals are kickback free. If we recommend somebody, we do it because we honestly believe that they will do a great job for you.
