Message from TIFFCOM CEO.

This year, the 20th TIFFCOM will return to its fundamental idea as a place for people to connect with each other, which is the true appeal of a market, and we have been preparing to hold a physical event for the first time in four years, to promote new communication among people.

This year, we will welcome you with a new view at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center HAMAMATSUCHO-KAN. The venue is easily accessible from both Haneda and Narita Airports, Tokyo Station and Shinagawa Station, and is closer to the Hibiya area where the Tokyo International Film Festival will be held.

TIFFCOM 2023 has already attracted sales agents and production companies from many countries and regions, mainly from Asia, in the fields of film, television, and animation. Looking forward to lively sales market activities, we will hold Tokyo Gap-Financing Market for fundraising as a physical event for the first time this year, and will launch a new project market for film development based on Japan’s original manga and comic books, with experienced producers and distributors, in order to enhance our support for film production.

I sincerely hope that many people will attend TIFFCOM 2023, to be held from October 25 to 27, and that it will be a fruitful three-day market that will broaden your knowledge in your field of expertise and help you build new networks.
