Passion For Freedom

What we do

Passion For Freedom

  1. Create space for artists and writers who discuss subjects omitted in politically correct circles.
  2. Invite people to open and uninhibited discussion. Nothing is more important than critically informed debate. It’s how society has advanced through the ages.
  3. Gather like-minded people creating a network of actively engaged citizens who hold high the value of individual’s freedom.

Who we are

Passion for Freedom is a non-governmental and voluntary organization gathering professionals working in arts and media. Our first edition of non-profit Festival took place in 2009 in London. The annual celebration of Freedom takes place in a spacious, contemporary gallery next to the Tate Modern. Last year’s edition showcased artists from 12 different countries carefully selected from hundreds of applications.

Passion for Freedom gives a unique opportunity for artists to openly debate and exercise freedom of speech.

We feel disgusted by the suppression of women and the many-sided attack on our Freedom.

FREEDOM OF WOMEN. FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

PROTECTING IT WHERE IT EXISTS. PROMOTING IT WHERE IT DOESN’T.

Passion for Freedom uses the universal language of art to strengthen humanistic values for the benefit of our societies.

6th Passion For Freedom- The Film Section

The Film Section of the festival selects film makers who’ve proven their passion
for freedom in a politically correct or sensitive environment whilst answering
with their work 3 questions:

WHAT IS FREEDOM?
HOW EASY IS IT TO LOSE IT?
HOW HARD IS IT TO GET IT BACK?

All the trailers of the nominees are being published on the festival
Youtube channel inspiring thousands of concerned citizens to watch quality films.
Set in a special setting of a gallery venue, surrounded by the various art
creations of the festival, we have arrange screenings for the awarded films followed
by a talk with the film makers for more than a hundred members of the audience.
