Maui Film Festival

The Maui Film Festival prides itself on the presentation of transformative, life-affirming and compassionate storytelling in exemplary films from anywhere and everywhere on Earth.

The Maui Film Festival takes place each June in Maui, Hawaii. The Festival is known worldwide for the quality of each year's film program, world-class culinary arts celebrations and the savvy and eclectic list of luminaries it has honored since its inaugural year in 2000.

Above and beyond these attributes, the Festival features a one-of-a-kind, under the stars, lit by the moon and (literally) powered by the sun Celestial Cinema, Seaside Cinema and Toes-in-the-Sand Cinema, as well as the state-of-the-art Castle Theater, 'Maui's Movie Palace' at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.

Add it all up, and you begin to understand the 'cosmic chemistry' that so many filmmakers, whose work has been presented at the Maui Film Festival, remember their Maui experiences as the highlight of their entire film festival 'tour'.
