InShadow - Lisbon Screendance Festival from Vo'Arte on Vimeo.

InShadow - Lisbon ScreenDance Festival is an initiative of Vo'Arte and a reference in contemporary artistic creation and programeeming, with emphasis on the convergence of language between body and image, based on technology.

InShadow explores interdisciplinary atmospheres through aesthetic solutions and technical representation of body on screen, on stage and in other platforms. Genres and language intersect in video, performance, installations and exhibitions that present the vitality of a dialogue between established artists and emerging creators.

The program includes an international competition of videodance and documentaries, performances, a section aimed at children and youth, workshops and masterclasses, as well as exhibitions and installations, that expand the Festival by the city.

The registration period for the 11th InShadow – Lisbon ScreenDance Festival runs until June 30, 2019.

Since 2008 that the InShadow Festival has been established as a transdisciplinary cross-breeding laboratory and platform of opportunity, promotion and dissemination of filmmakers, choreographers and multidisciplinary artists, promoting their work internationally.

Apply and gain an opportunity of winning one of the InShadow awards and to have your work recognized worldwide.

All the applications will be submitted to a Jury formed by experts in the area of disciplinary crossings.

The awards for the Video-Dance and Documentary Competition are supported by Conserveira de Lisboa, ETIC - School of Technologies, Innovation and Creation, Soudos - Espaço Rural das Artes and Adega Mayor.
