CALL FOR ENTRIES 2019
29^th African, Asian and Latin American Film Festival
Milan – Italy, 23^rd-31^st March 2019

Submissions for the 29^th African, Asian and Latin American Film Festival are now open!

It’s now possible to submit films to take part in the next edition of African, Asian and Latin American Film Festival, which will take place in Milan (Italy) from 23rd to 31st March 2019.

Applying is simple, it only takes two steps:

• fill in the entry form, after reading the rules
• send us a screener for the selection (subtitled in English or French), preferably by link or on DVD, to the Festival Office.

THE FESTIVAL’S SECTIONS:

There are three competitive sections at Milan’s African, Asian and Latin American Film Festival:

“Windows on the World” Feature Films Competition
Prize euro 8,000*
Fiction and documentary films made by directors from Africa, Asia and Latin America (minimum running time 60 min.)

African Short Films Competition
Prize euro 2,000*
Fiction and documentary short films made by African directors (maximum running time 59 min.)

Extr’A Competition
Prize euro 1,000*
Fiction and documentary films made by Italian or Italian-based directors in the three continents (Africa, Asia and Latin America) or related to immigration, integration and interculture in Italy.

*the prizes may vary

Only films and videos made in 2018 and 2019 – that preferably have not been previously screened in Italy – can take part in the competitive sections.

Film submissions are free of charge.

The deadline is on 21^st December 2018.
