Arclight Films has added the mind-bending thriller Tilt to their sales slate for EFM
Arclight Films has added the mind-bending thriller Tilt to their sales slate for EFM, it was announced today by Arclight Films CEO Gary Hamilton. Arclight is handling all rights outside of North America and will present the psychological thriller to buyers at the upcoming European Film Market.
The Orchard will release the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival official selection in the US and Canada in 2018.
The highly anticipated Tilt is directed by award winning Art Director Kasra Farahani (Captain Marvel, Star Trek: Into the Darkness) and written by Farahani and Jason O’Leary. Starring Joseph Cross (Milk, “Big Little Lies”), Alexia Rasmussen (Our Idiot Brother, Creative Control), Kelvin Yu (“Master of None”, Cloverfield) and C.S. Lee (“Dexter”), Tilt tells the story of an unemployed documentary filmmaker whose behavior becomes increasingly erratic in the months after his wife becomes pregnant. Tilt explores how quickly the most familiar person in your life can become the most terrifying. How quickly we can become terrifying to ourselves.
Produced by Farahani, Kristina Kondrath (Play Date) and Giri Tharan (JT Leroy, Permission) through his Ball and Chain Productions, the film also screened at the 2017 Fantasia Film Festival to rave reviews and audience praise.
“This festival favorite has shocked audiences across North America and we are thrilled to now be able to share it with our international partners,” said Hamilton. “This intense and mesmerizing feature has found a great home with The Orchard in the US and we know that it will continue to delight horror fans around the world.”
