The fourth edition of the contest "Epizephiry International Film Festival 2010" is announced.

The registration to the film contest is free.

MAIN NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION SECTIONS
1) Section SHORT FILMS - for films of 15 minutes duration maximum;
2) Section MEDIUM FILMS - for films of 40 minutes duration maximum;
3) Section ANIMATION FILMS - no duration limits;
4) Section DOCUMENTARIES - no duration limits;
5) Section MUSIC VIDEOCLIPS - no duration limits.

Calling all Film Makers!
The Little Ripper Film Festival is looking for shorts for their up and coming screening Friday Dec 4th, 2009 at the Classic Cinema, Elsternwick, VIC, AUSTRALIA.  As an introductory offer you can enter your shorts for free! Innovation and Tradition in European Cinema 1940-1950

The 1940s: a decade of extreme conditions and social unrest – brutal economic conditions, a devastated infrastructure and tight political control. The general topic stays – but with new perspectives.

The focus will be on filmmakers’ reaction to war and the aftermath. What artistic solutions did film directors in different European countries find to handle the chaos and the human and cultural catastrophes around them?

The central focus will again be the repercussions of the general economical and political situation on the aesthetic and artistic production. One facet of this will be a look at the fractures or continuities in filmmakers’ careers.
