4 days till PÖFF’s Opening CeremonyA year has passed and the confirmed PÖFF fans do not have to suffer for a long time. The delicious smell of the biggest treat can already be sensed. The festive opening ceremony of PÖFF takes place on November 11 at 19:00 at Nordea Concert Hall together with the black carpet and the opening film. During the opening ceremony the Black Nights Film Festival's Lifetime Achievement Award and the prize named after Bruno O'Ya to a young Estonian actor will be handed over. This festive ceremony is hosted by the God of comedy Henrik Kalmet. The stage show is staged by the EMTA drama school students together with the young and talented director Ingmar Jõela, a student himself. Musical director of the show is Sander Mölder, visuals by Emer Värk. To capture the festive atmosphere, we ask the audience to come to the Nordea Concert Hall at 18:45 at the latest, as photographing will take place on the black carpet before the ceremony. The ceremony is followed by the opening film, a majestic French drama "Eternity" („Éternité“) , focussing on a French family story during a whole century, bringing out all the characteristics of the country and the culture that make it so pleasant and enjoyable. The film's director is Tran Anh Hung, starring Audrey Taoutou, Bérénice Bejo and Mélanie Laurent 07.11.2016 | Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival's blog Cat. : Ambiance
