boletin_1629_1.jpg?t=20230623095736

The deadline for submissions is August 1

Proyecta, the initiative jointly organised by Ventana Sur, the Marché du Film and the San Sebastian Festival, opens its call for the submission of audiovisual feature films projects from Europe and Latin America that are at the development stage and are looking for co-production. Open from today, the initiative is for first or second works by their directors.

The call is for fiction and non-fiction projects in development from Latin America and Europe (provided that they have an express connection with Latin America). They must have a runtime of more than 60 minutes and have 20% of their funding assured.

A maximum of 15 projects will be selected for presentation by their producers at pitching sessions followed by one-to-one meetings with accredited industry members. The European projects selected for the Europe-Latin America Co-Production Forum will also have the option of participating in the event.

Proyecta is part of Ventana Sur, Latin America’s biggest audiovisual market, and is organised jointly by Argentina’s National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts and the Marché du Film-Festival de Cannes. It will take place in Buenos Aires from November 27th until December 1st 2023.
