Berkshire County gets Best FilmShriekfest, the Los Angeles International Film Festival & Screenplay Competiton was a huge success! Denise Gossett, festival director, once again hosted Shriekfest Oct 2-5th at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood. Shriekfest screened 42 films and had 30 screenplay finalists & 8 original song finalists.
"Berkshire County" directed by Audrey Cummings took the Grand Jury prize for Best Horror Feature Film, "Time Lapse" directed by Bradley King took the Best SciFi Feature Film award, and "Nightmare Code" directed by Mark Netter took the Best Thriller Feature Film award.
"Let Me See Your Eyes" directed by Derek Cole took the Best Horror Short Film prize, "The Developer" directed by Robert Odeanal won the Best SciFi Short Film Award and "Drudge" directed by Kheireddine El-Helou took the best Super Short Film Award.
The winner of the Best Horror Feature Screenplay went to "Ghost of Vengeance" written by Billan Lee and the winner of the Best Sci-Fi Feature Screenplay goes to "The Big Beyond" written by Tom Batha.
