We kicked off the year with the powerful storytelling and cinematic excellence brought to you by Femme Sessions

Our first Femme Session of the year took place  on January 31st in Maus Hábitos. The screening of "CATEGORY: WOMAN" a compelling documentary directed by Phyllis Ellis, shed light on the experiences of four women athletes from the Global South who, despite being in perfect health, are compelled to undergo medical intervention to compete in their sport. "CATEGORY: WOMAN" explores the intersection of sexism and racism in the world of sports, raising crucial questions about equality and justice.
