Lucy is 17 years old. The realization that she was conceived during a porn shoot has just been revealed to her. Furious and determined to find her biological father, Lucy tracks down her mother’s former “co-worker” Udo in a live sex shop. Reluctant at first, he ultimately decides to help young Lucy. On his motorcycle, the two ascend on a journey through Northern Germany.
For Udo, this voyage down memory lane, takes him into the past life, once so familiar, now a complete stranger to.
To the assertive Lucy a whole new world is exposed. Unprepared and overly eager to discover the truth she finds more than she was looking for. The path into the past and uncharted territory is paved with self-realization as the two embark into their future.

André M. Hennicke as Udo, Gloria Endres de Oliveira as Lucy and Jasmin Tabatabai as Lucy’s mother Paula with a stellar cast Benjamin Teske’s joy ride is an unforgettable experience.

MA recipient at the Hamburg Media School, Benjamin Teske’s student film "Fliehkraft" garnered 2013s Studio Hamburg Newcomer Award for Best Short Film. “Strawberry Bubblegums” marks his feature debut.

On Wednesday, September 14th, at 19:00 "Strawberry Bubblegums" will open the 23rd Oldenburg International Film Festival with a gala reception. Attending the premiere are the director and the cast of the film.
