View my profile Images Videos Home >> Blogs >> Editor's blog >> “BEHIND THE FRAME” is now within the frame of MIFF-2008 “BEHIND THE FRAME” is now within the frame of MIFF-2008 A unique exhibition of yesteryears cine-equipments “BEHIND THE FRAME” is a part of Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF-2008) and was inaugurated by veteran cinematographer –director Shri Govind Nihlani. The exhibition has a display of equipments and material used in film making in olden era to recent days like Metal blimp camera, 35mm Mitchell camera, Éclair NPR camera, various lenses, voice recorders, lights, editing machines, projectors, and rare photographs. This expo is a technical rendezvous with evolution of cinema, and an eye opener to the development in technical capacity of cinema. The expo will be a part of permanent museum MOMI ( Museum of moving Images) which is all set to come up in near future within Films Division complex.
