EDN Announces Projects Selected for 20th Edition of Docs in Thessaloniki

 

EDN - European Documentary Network announces the final selection of projects to take part in Docs in Thessaloniki, the annual pitching forum taking place from 2-6 March 2018 in Thessaloniki, Greece. Docs in Thessaloniki consists of a five-day program, where the selected documentary projects will be developed, re-written and pitched to a panel of international financiers.

For the 20th edition of Docs in Thessaloniki, EDN has now announced the final selection of 21 documentary projects that will participate in the next instalment of EDN's pitching forum which will take place during the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival in March.

Docs in Thessaloniki will once again feature a strong team of experts and tutors to work with the participants on their projects. The tutor team consists of: Jesper Osmund (Editor, Denmark), Gitte Hansen (Deputy Director, First Hand Films, Switzerland), Brian Hill (Director, Century Films, UK), Paula Vaccaro (Producer, Pinball London, UK), Christine Camdessus (Producer, Alegria, France), Ove Rishøj Jensen (EDN, Denmark) and Arash Riahi (Producer & Director, Golden Girls Filmproduction, Austria).

The EDN team looks forward to the 20th edition of the pitching forum and the exciting variety of projects to be developed and presented to financiers from renowned companies and institutions from around the world. The prominent lineup of financiers includes commissioners and experts from ARTE GEIE, ORF, Al Jazeera English, ERT, SVT, SBS, YLE, DR, Moving Docs, EO/IKONdocs, Visible Film, Currenttime.TV and Films Transit.
