"Through the Pane" to play A Corto di Donne in July!Out of 700 entries from 70 countries, "Through the Pane" will represent the USA and is one of only 6 documentaries in competition at A Corto di Donne Film Festival in Pozzuoli, Italy, July 14-17, 2016. Written and helmed by Dawn Westlake, the film is based on the personal memoir of her father, Donald G. Westlake. Pol Carrizo Vilarroig of Imatge Barcelona filmed and edited in Westlake's hometown of Wheaton, Illinois, USA. A score was provided by Gregory Johnson of Acoustic Labs. (Gregory's music was recently featured in Tom Tykwer's "A Hologram for the King", starring Tom Hanks.)
