Jury members for Camera d'Ord and Un Certain Regard

CAMERA D’OR 2013 : PRESIDENTE AGNES VARDA

La Caméra d’or consacre chaque année le meilleur premier film issu de la Sélection officielle, de la Semaine de la Critique et de la Quinzaine des Réalisateurs. En 2013, ils sont 23 à concourir (dont 6 femmes réalisatrices toutes issues de la Sélection officielle) pour cette récompense qui sera remise lors de la soirée de clôture le dimanche 26 mai. La Présidente sera la cinéaste française Agnès Varda. L’an dernier, le Jury de la Caméra d’or était présidé par le cinéaste brésilien Carlos Diegues et a récompensé le film de Benh Zeitlin, Beasts of the Southern Wild (Les Bêtes du Sud sauvage).

THE MEMBERS OF THE JURYS UN CERTAIN REGARD AND CAMERA D’OR

 

 

UN CERTAIN REGARD 2013: PRESIDENT THOMAS VINTERBERG

 

The films of Un Certain Regard will also be granted prizes alongside the films of the Competition. A five-member jury will award prizes, Danish director Thomas Vintenberg being the president. The members of the jury are:

Ilda Santiago (Festival de Rio Director - Brazil)

Enrique Gonzalez Macho (Producer, distributor, exhibitor - Spain)

Eighteen films are in Un Certain Regard. They will be screened in Debussy Theatre from Thursday 16th to Saturday May 25th, 2013. The Opening film is The Bling Ring by Sofia Coppola.

Last year the Un Certain Regard jury was presided over by actor-director Tim Roth.

 

 

CAMERA D’OR 2013: AGNES VARDA PRESIDENT

 

The Caméra d’or rewards every year the best film out of the Official Selection, the Critics’ Week and the Directors’ Fortnight. In 2013, 23 films take part in this competition (including 6 female directors, all of them being part of the Official Selection) to obtain this award which will be handed out during the Closing Ceremony on Sunday May 26th. The President will be French director Agnès Varda. Last year the jury of the Caméra d’or was presided over by Brazilian director Carlos Diegues and gave the award to Benh Zeitlin’s film Beasts of the Southern Wild.
