The 4th Annual 2008 New York Television Festival (NYTVF) Opening Night ABC Television Network premiere screening of LIFE ON MARS, directed by Jason Connery was held at the New World Stages, Friday, September 12, 8:00 PM. A special Q&A with cast members preceded the 2008 NYTVF Opening Night Gala Reception.

LIFE ON MARS ABC new science fiction series depicts a current day New York City detective Sam Tyler (Jason O'Mara) goes back in time to the year 1973 after experiencing a criminal car chase incident. LIFE ON MARS airs Thursday, October 9, 10:00 PM, ET.

NYTVF annually celebrates independent television competition (IPC), television network (ABC, FOX, NBC) premieres, panel discussions, seminars, special events, and awards ceremony. Artists, industry executives, producers, actors, and musicians attended the 2008 NYTVF Opening Night Gala ABC Television Network premiere.
