Arclight Films is selling the sexy, female-driven comedy Half Magic, written, directed and starring Heather GrahamLeading international sales agent Arclight Films has come on board to handle worldwide sales for the sexy, female-driven comedy Half Magic, written, directed and starring Heather Graham (Hangover series, Boogie Nights, Bowfinger), it was announced today by Arclight Films CEO Gary Hamilton. The company will launch international sales on the completed film during the upcoming American Film Market and will screen for buyers.
With Half Magic, Heather Graham has taken her experiences in Hollywood and crafted a dazzling satirical comedy about three women who use their newly formed sisterhood to fight against sexism, bad relationships and low self-esteem. Through embracing their wild adventures, they learn the secret to ultimate fulfillment. Momentum Pictures will release the film in North America in February 2018.
“Heather Graham has crafted a hilarious film that explores themes of female empowerment through sex, work, and friendship touching on the issues that remain ever so prevalent in today’s workplace,” said Arclight’s CEO Gary Hamilton. “With a cast full of comedy superstars, Half Magic is a charming and heartfelt take on the friends and relationships that pull people through and we are thrilled to share this new film with our buyers at AFM.”
Half Magic is a Bill Sheinberg production and is produced by The Bubble Factory’s Bill, Jonathan and Sid Sheinberg (Flipper, A Simple Wish, For Richer or Poorer, The Devil’s Tomb).
