Hannah’s parents are divorced. Her father is from Argentina and her mother is Dutch. Hannah is a dreamer. She loves to dance and adores her father. For Hannah dancing and her father are two things that belong together. Her father Nano feels miserable in The Netherlands ever since he divorced Hannah’s mother. He is homesick and wants to go back to his family and friends in Buenos Aires. But leaving The Netherlands also means saying goodbye to his daughter. After the divorce of her parents Hannah’s mother started a relationship with a new man. He lives with them now. Hannah gets along with him, yet she misses her father a lot. By listening to her father’s tango music she can still dance with him in her mind.

An observational documentary about 5 Dutch youngsters from Moroccan origin in Rotterdam followed by the camera from 2003 upto 2011, during the increasing tension in Dutch society between moslim immigrants and the original Dutch population. This find it's peak in the killing of Theo van Gogh, filmmaker and journalist by a moslim fundamentalist. This film is taken from the perspective of the youngsters

The Imagine, Fantastic Film Festival will celebrate its 26th edition in Amsterdam. During the festival Dutch director Dick Maas will receive the Imagine Lifetime Achievement Award. During the Gala of the Dutch Film at the 29th Netherlands Film Festival, on Friday 2 October, departing director Doreen Boonekamp (1968) was honoured with the Golden Calf for the Culture Award 2009. Saturday, November 25----The Dutch documentary FOREVER by Heddy Honigmann has been recognised with a Crystal Film Award for achieving over 10,000 tickets sold since its release.
