Rise of The Planet Of The Apes to open in record number of single screens in India

Come August 5th, Fox Star Studios’ Rise of The Planet Of The Apes will open in  450 single screens, trumping Hollywood films like Harry Potter and X-Men: First Class, which  opened in 250 single screens. No other Hollywood film has seen such a massive opening, especially in the dubbed languages (Hindi, Tamil and Telegu), as the film makers feel  audiences across  India will connect with the film's universal appeal.
Starring the dashing Oscar nominated actor of 127 Hours fame James Franco and India’s Freida Pinto ( of Slumdog Millionnaire/Miral/You will meet a tall dark stranger fame); this origins story reboot is a visual effects extravaganza ( going by the promos on TV) with stunning effects rendered, without the usage of  real animals.

( Readers might like to know,BTW, Azrael the cat in The Smurfs is a digitally enhanced real life  cat)

Peter Jackson’s New Zealand-based digital effects house Weta Digital, which was responsible for AVATAR, THE LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy, and KING KONG have expanded upon its Academy Award-winning work to render, for the first time ever, photo-realistic apes rather than costumed actors. This technology allows audiences to emotionally engage with a lead character, a chimpanzee named Caesar, who does not exist.  Andy Serkis,-- Gollum from Lord of the Rings and the titular simian from the 2005 King Kong remake, acts behind the movie effects.
Dave Patel might want to throw some rocks at me, but Franco and Pinto look soooo goooood together. Going by the stills and trailer. Now, I'm looking forward to the movieeeeeee.
