EXCLUSIVE: Chris Coy has joined the cast of "Random," starring alongside "Twilight" star Ashley Greene.  Coy will play the charatcer of Leader, the brains behind a group of rogue criminals who terrorize a lone college student at a New England college over Thanksgiving break. Oliver Blackburn is directing.

Coy was most recently seen as L.P. Everett on the HBO drama series “Treme”.  He will return for the series final season later this year.  Previous to his work on “Treme,” Coy recurred as Barry the telepathic bellboy on HBO monster-hit series “True Blood.” 

Haley Bennett also stars in the film, which is being produced by The Weinstein Company, along with David Kirschner ("Child's Play" franchise); Corey Sienega ("Frailty", "Bride of Chucky"); Jamie Patricof and Lynette Howell ("Blue Valentine", "Place Beyond the Pines").

Blackburn ("Donkey Punch") is directing from a script by Anthony Jaswinski ("Vanishing on Seventh Street", "See No Evil").

The film is described as being in the vein of “Rosemary’s Baby."
