Hilary Swank, the two-time Oscar winner american actress will be guest of the fifth edition of the Ischia Global Fest.

The talented protagonist of cult films like Boys Don't Cry and Million Dollar Baby will receive the Legend Award by Regione Campania on July 11 in the town of Lacco Ameno. After celebrating the fact that she received star number 2325 on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Hilary Swank will arrive on the "Green Island" during a break from her many commitments on the set as well as her new role as producer.
Her last film was the supernatural thriller The Reaping, whereas the comedy P.S. I Love You, where she co-stars with Scottish superstar Gerard Butler, (protagonist of the hit film of the year 300), is due out at the end of the year.
Swank will then return to horror with Fangland, based on the novel by John Marks and set in a TV studio invaded by vampires. But the big news in the career of the ex-child prodigy of Hollywood is her work producing Laws of Motion, a comedy in which she stars with Matthew Perry, who played the character Chandler in the legendary TV series Friends.
In 2008 Swank will be the protagonist of the thriller Labyrinth, where she plays a woman with multiple personalities who is hunting down a mysterious serial killer.

The fifth edition of the Ischia Global Film & Music Fest is produced by Pascal Vicedomini and organized by the International Art Academy of Ischia and the Tourist Board of Ischia and Procida, with the support of the Regional Ministry fro Tourism of the Campania Region and the Film Board of the Italian Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with Kimbo coffee, Fiuggi Mineral Water and the Venice Casino, with the participation of Cinecittà Holding and the Chamber of Commerce of Naples and Medmar.

Chair of this year's organizing committee is Canadian director and screenwriter Paul Haggis, assisted by vice-presidents Marina Cicogna and Franco Nero and for the musical section, Tony Renis. Among the participants: directors Alejandro González Iñárritu, Oliver Stone, Alfonso Cuaròn, Stephen Frears, Bobby Moresco, Terry Gilliam, Michael Radford, Jonathan Dayton, Valerie Faris, and Bille August. Joining them will be Italian directors Giuseppe Tornatore, Emanuele Crialese, Mimmo Calopresti, and Marco Risi and actors Laura Dern, Ioan Gruffudd, Claudia Gerini, Rodrigo Santoro, Laura Morante, Alessandra Martines, Adriano Giannini, Anna Valle, and Enrico Loverso.

Among the screenwriters, Oscar winner William Monahan,as well as the Brazilians Braulio Mantovani and Marcos Bernstein, and Italians Valerio Massimo Manfredi and Erri De Luca. Among the maestros of music, legendary David Foster, two time Oscar-winner Gustavo Santaolalla as well as Luis E. Bacalov, Sheryl Crow and Laura Pausini.
