Thomson - the world leader in digital video technology – will be presenting the Thomson Young Innovator of the Year Award at this year’s National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY) being held next week in Seattle. Recognized as an innovator in the world of technology, Thomson is honored to recognize the efforts of a future industry innovator.

 The three day festival will feature 73 films, all from filmmakers under the age of 21 (with some entrants as young as 9 years old!)
 The inaugural Thomson Young Innovator of the Year Award will go to the film that has demonstrated extraordinary innovation in the use of imagination and technology
 The finalists, who will be announced on Monday, were selected by a prestigious jury comprised of award-winning producers, directors and Thomson executives.
