New resource for young filmmakers with access to legally licensed music

The National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY) and Audiosocket, a music, media and technology company that delivers up-and-coming talent to the marketplace, have joined together to provide young filmmakers free access to legally licensed music. Through this new partnership, NFFTY filmmakers can license up to five songs from the Audiosocket roster for use in films they are submitting to NFFTY. Audiosocket will pay their artists the commission for use in NFFTY films, so the filmmakers won...

National Film Festival for Talented Youth

NFFTY is the largest and most influential film festival for young filmmakers (age 22 and under). NFFTY occurs each spring in Seattle, Washington and includes 100+ film screenings, filmmaking panels, concerts by youth bands, and opportunities for young filmmakers to network with industry professionals and each other. Young filmmakers from around the world submit feature-length and short films in narrative, documentary, animation, music video, experimental, and international categories.
