da Vinci Film FestA film festival to celebrate the joining of art, science and technology in the spirit of Leonardo da Vinci. Held each year in Corvallis, Oregon (USA), the festival accepts films in feature, short, documentary, and young filmmaker categories. The festival also awards the 'Spirit of da Vinci' prize to the film that best captures the relationship between art and technology. The festival began in 2000 and has continued to grow each year. Corvallis, Oregon is the home of Oregon State University, ranked among the top engineering and science schools in the United States. Corvallis is also the location of a major research and development facility for Hewlett-Packard.
