Michael Douglas cherche un réalisateur

Après le retrait de John Mc Tierman du projet de la famille Douglas
Smoke and Mirors, Michael Douglas a approché Mimi Leder pour reprendre
les rênes du film. La réalisatrice de Deep Impact, Le
Pacificateur et de Un
Monde Meilleur mettrait ainsi en scène le couple Douglas Zeta-Jones
dans une histoire racontant la vie du magicien Robert Houdini en Algérie
dans les années 1850. Les Douglas travaillent sur ce projet depuis 1994.
Les frères en seraient les producteurs et le père Kirk pourrait
interpréter un petit rôle. Le tournage pourrait commencer à
l'automne prochain.
