Le Jury œcuménique 2021 attribue son Prix au film : DRIVE MY CAR de Ryusuke Hamaguchi (Compétition Officielle)

Pour une méditation poétique sur le pouvoir de guérison de l’art et de la parole, grâce à un long voyage vers le pardon et l’acceptation.

Ce film délivre avec force un message universel : comment surmonter les barrières de communication dues aux conventions, classes sociales, nationalités et handicap.

For its kind view on the encounter between two wounded people who would not choose each other even as

SIGNIS et INTERFILM sont des organismes internationaux dont la mission est de soutenir des films et leurs créateurs, notamment ceux qui expriment l'identité culturelle de jeunes nations ou de pays en voie de développement. Ce soutien passe par la promotion et l'aide à la distribution.
Ils organisent des jurys oecuméniques dans de nombreux festivals du monde entier : Cannes, Berlin, Locarno, Montréal, Karlovy Vary ...

SIGNIS (World Catholic Association for Communication) and INTERFILM (International Interchurch Organisation for Cinema) are international organizations whose mission is to promote films and producers, including those who express the cultural identity of young nations and developing countries.
