Successful 11th Festival de Cine Alemán in Buenos Aires

The 11th Festival de Cine Alemán was held at the Village Recoleta Cinema in Buenos Aires from 22-28 September, 2011. An extensive program of 10 feature films, two documentaries, a silent film and the Next Generation Short Tiger 2011 showcase was shown. Filmmaker’s Information

Submissions for Independent Days 12:

Entry deadline for the Independent Days 12 Contest is October 31, 2011.

Movies submitted between 1st of November and 31st of December 2011 are out of competition.

The festival will be held from 16th to 20th May 2012 in Karlsruhe (Germany).

Terms of Participation (short version):

Terms of participation in general remain as in the years before: we have no specific guidelines regarding running time, genre or format. However, the production costs of the films must not exceed 2.500 Euro per minute of running time.

We will differentiate between the categories “No Budget” and “Low Budget”.

A list of valid presentation formats can be found in the “Terms of Participation”.
