Out Film CT is pleased to announce that the Connecticut Gay & Lesbian Film Festival is celebrating its 23rd year this May, bringing to the region a wide range of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) documentaries, shorts, and full-length feature films. SF DocFest seeks short and feature length documentaries for our 10th annual festival.
The fest takes place Oct 14-27, 2011 at the Roxie Theater in San Francisco, the oldest art house theater west of the Mississippi.
SF DocFest screens about 60 films on two screens over two weeks to full houses of Bay Area indie film lovers.
Our films get great local and national press every year, and we are well known for throwing fabulous parties!

No matter the size of the Festival, and I am including the biggest ones of the bunch in this statement, the quality of the fiction features is generally a mixed bag, but the documentaries never disappoint. The same can be said for the Palm Beach International Film Festival, where this year's documentary lineup is of consistent quality, appealing to audiences of all stripes and tastes.
