Documentary
The films will be evaluated by a professional jury. The works selected by the pre-jury for competition will be presented at open screenings in the presence of the creators the audience and the jury. The films not selected for the competitions will be presented at informative screenings. The jury give prizes (I., II., III.) in three categories: short feature film, experimental film and documentary and it has special prizes as well. The jury will remunerate the works of the film university students in a separate category.
The best of the photos on the decision of the pre-jury will be exhibited in the Uránia National Film Theatre. The prizes will be handed over at the prize-giving ceremony of the film festival.
The Palm Beach International Film Festival (PBIFF) is now accepting submission for the 2012 festival and our new monthly series dedicated to local filmmakers "Monday Night at the Movies." Now entering it's 17th year the annual festival celebrates the best in American and foreign independent film at various locations throughout Palm Beach County. Animation, a documentary, a feature film or anything else, made with cameras, digital / video cameras, mobile phones, computers, coloured – pencils or whatever You like! But there is one condition: Films must be freaked – out!
Accepting entries in all categories, including Animation, Short Drama, Experimental, Feature, Documentary, Outdoor, Commercial, Audio and Scriptwriting. Official Selections and past favorites will be shown at the Courtyard Gallery and other Asheville, NC venues. *Deadline for 2012 is March 31st (postmarked) and April 30th extended deadline (postmarked).Last Deadline is May 15th (received)
Festival takes place in the River Arts District of Asheville, NC at the Phil Mechanics Building, 109 Robets, May 25th, 26th and 27th.

IN THE PALACE is an International festival dedicated to short films under 45 minutes in length. It is held annualy
in the late June in the Black Sea town of Balchik. Established in 2003,
the festival had grown from a competitive forum for student films into
the largest and most prestigious short film festival in Bulgaria and the
region.
Besides the annual film competition programmes, In The Palace is
accompanied by several parallel events, special screenings, build-in
workshops, trainings and master classes, and includes a film industry
market section.
