Some talk of a computer apocalypse ; a digital end of the world. There’s mainly talk of a bug. A huge bug : Y2K, the bug of 2000.
In the end, the disaster never materialized. But what were we really able to predict at the time ? Were our fears justified ? And what was the cost of all that ? From Switzerland to the USA, via France and the UK, SYSTEM ERROR reveals how « the bug of 2000 » became one of the most emblematic mass media phenomenon of the end of the 20th Century.
