Shot on the Canon 6D and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro by Barcelona-based DP/Editor Pol Carrizo-Vilarroig of Imatge Barcelona, the film was made in Wheaton, IL, USA in the childhood home of director/producer Dawn Westlake. Ron de Cana Productions' "Games People Play" won the Best Foreign Short Film award at the 2015 Ugu Film Festival in Port Shepstone, South African on September 13th. The panel of judges were writer Andrew Worsdale, the Durban-based director of "Poison", Madoda Ncayiyana, the director of "Izulu Lami" and David Forbes, the distributor and founder of Shadow Films.

"Games People Play" has been selected from over 1,000 submissions to play amongst the redwoods in the prestigious Big Sur International Film Series at the Henry Miller Library in Big Sur, CA, USA on June 25th, 2015 at 8pm.
