In the International Documentary and Feature Film Competitions emerging directors have the opportunity to present their films in Zurich to the wide attention of the entire German-language market. The Zurich Film Festival gala premiere lineup has been revealed.
Illustrious ZFF Gala Premieres
New films from Juan Antonio Bayona, David Mackenzie, John Michael McDonagh
In addition to the feature films SNOWDEN, FLORENCE FOSTER JENKINS and DEEPWATER HORIZON, which have already been announced, the 12th Zurich Film Festival can now confirm several more illustrious Gala Premieres. The ZFF will screen the latest films from such internationally renowned directors as Juan Antonio Bayona, David Mackenzie and John Michael McDonagh.
AMERICAN HONEY

Star (Sasha Lane) is trapped in a life far from perfect. Then she falls head over heels in love with Jake (Shia LaBeouf), before embarking with him and a band of misfits who live by their own rules on an adventurous journey to freedom.
