Lido di Venezia, Hotel Excelsior. Beginning date of the VENICE PRODUCTION BRIDGE, which will continue until the 5^th of September.

Lazzaretto Vecchio Island, VR Theater. Beginning date of the VENICE VIRTUAL REALITY, which will continue untile the 5^th September. The International Jury of Venice Virtual Reality will award, with no ex aequo awards permitted, the following prizes to the 22 projects in competition: Best VR, Best VR Experience (for interactive content), Best VR Story (for linear content).

Lido di Venezia, Hotel Excelsior, 15° Premio Kinèo, 12:00 am, Cinecittà Luce Hall, Press Conference; 8:00 pm, Awards ceremony and gala dinner on invitation at the Hotel Excelsior Beach. The awards are decreed by a public made of the theatricals'  spectators thanks to an initiative with ANEC, in collaboration with Best Movie. This year the SNCCI Award has been awarded to Marco Bellocchio.

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 4^TH

Lido di Venezia, Hotel Excelsior, European Film Forum, Sala Stucchi, 10:00-11:45 am. The second workshop organized by the European Commission is entitled “Shaping together the MEDIA Programme of the future” and will be held by the newly-elected European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society, Mariya Gabriel.

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 7^TH

Lido di Venezia, Hotel Excelsior, Spazio Incontri Venice Production Bridge, 3:00-5:00 pm. The Federazione Italiana dei Cineclub presents “Il Futuro del Corto d’Autore”, curated by Paolo Micalizzi (Fedic Cinema). It envisages speeches, testimonies and screenings.
