Toronto Pictures goes away with money owed to Cannes Market and filmfestivals.com

Toronto Pictures still owes  Cannes Market and filmfestivals.com 15 000€ as a 2006 settlement still unpaid from past 30 000€ owed jontly to cannes film festival Cannesmarket and filmfestivals.com.
The company is therefore blacklisted in Cannes.
YET They have issued the following statement.

Shares Of Toronto Pictures Up 400% -- Best Ask Up 4,000%

Toronto Pictures Inc. (OTC: TTOPF), the "Wander Company", announces that its stock closed up 400% and that the best ask is up 4,000%.

Toronto Pictures Inc. (OTC: TTOPF), the "Wander Company", announces that its stock closed up 400% and that the best ask is up 4,000%.

Toronto Pictures produces feature films that provoke thought, not violence. The company has identified its production's niche in 1996 and it has followed on its promise to become one of the most cost efficient Independent Film Studios in the world that produces non-violent, quality and social issues driven, Hollywood standard main stream films.

Toronto Pictures is also a public company in the USA since first quarter of 2007. The Company's Management believes that today is the right time for Toronto Pictures' products to start being marketed and coming out onto the international market place. The Management also believes that, after taking the proper time to establish the company not only within the Entertainment Industry but also on Wall Street as a publicly traded entity, the actual reality in the stock market constitutes a momentum that plays in Toronto Pictures' favour.

Since its inception, Toronto Pictures operates on its own, trademark formula. It has proven its ability to produce top quality films under $15 M budget. Furthermore, it has proven its ability to be one step ahead of every other film production company from both a corporate and film production point of view.

The company's marketing, production and corporate strategies have brought Toronto Pictures to be one of the very few film production companies that is also a public entity in the USA with the prospect of releasing 4 (four) newly completed feature films and feature documentaries, while pursuing a listing on a superior market such as the AMEX.

Today's reality exists because Toronto Pictures, under the strict management of Internationally Awarded, film visionary, Director Bruno Pischiutta, is right now a "Wander Company" positioned for great financial success and creative recognition for many years to come.

Daria Trifu, Vice President, declares that "It is our principal and immediate goal, in the interest of every shareholder, to be traded on a superior market, preferably, the AMEX.  This corporate move will coincide with the release of a number of feature films and feature documentaries. It is a plan that has been in works from few years; going public was one step necessary. We know that it is now possible, and that this is the right time to implement this strategy."

The Management's evaluation of Toronto Pictures' assets at today's date is US $90,300,000.00. Should the conservative value of 8 x 1 for USA publicly traded companies be considered, then the proper market value of Toronto Pictures will be US $722,400,000.00 and, therefore, the price of one Common Share will be US $0.60.

Toronto Pictures is at the avanguarde of the Social Networking movement. Following a thorough market research, the company has selected to establish its own Social Networking web site under the Ning platform. Today, Toronto Pictures' Social Network is growing steadily. The company has created its own network/web site in less then 2 (two) months and it has already close to 300 registered members with new members joining daily. The Network's statistics shows that over 25,000 people have already visited the Main page (which is open to the public without membership). Additionally, Toronto Pictures has over 1,000 registered 'friends' from around the world. Toronto Pictures' Social Network is accessible at:

http://torontopictures.ning.com

Toronto Pictures has completed the production of a number of films. They are all to be exploited in every territory worldwide. Ms. Trifu notes: "We have worked very hard to privately finance, produce and complete a number of films. We have chosen to introduce them to the world market in a planned, successive order to guarantee a continuity of marketing and promotion to aid in our corporate strategy. We now believe that the time is right to bring the company's completed film products to the public around the world.

Toronto Pictures Film Studio has the following films in the can:

"Maybe" $3.5 M

The feature film deals with the eating disorder bulimia. This film is the "American Graffiti" of the 90's when there were no behavioural rules or sexual norms, and 'maybe' was the answer to every question.

The film has been awarded "The Visionary in Film Award" at the Bahamas One World Film Festival.

"Punctured Hope" $5.8 M

The story takes place in today's Ghana (Africa). It is inspired by a real story that addresses the genital mutilation and slavery of young girls and women. The black magic practice of TROKOSI is at the centre of this main stream, 35 mm, Hollywood standard feature film.

"The Comoedia - English Version" $4 M

This is the first English version of the Italian film, "The Comoedia", written and directed by Bruno Pischiutta in 1980. This motion picture is the one-and-only transposition of the Divina Commedia of Dante Alighieri to today's times.

The editing of the film was executed by Bruno Pischiutta and Ruggero Mastroianni. Ruggero, Marcello's brother, was the greatest editor of his generation. He edited some of Italy's masterpieces directed by Federico Fellini and other Italian great directors.

"The Comoedia" has been awarded the bronze medal (chosen between 3,800 films) at the prestigious New York International Film & TV Festival in 1982.

"Bruno Pischiutta: Film Auteur, A Retrospective" $0.7 M

This is a feature documentary that relates to the 30 years career of internationally awarded Film Auteur (writer, producer, director) Bruno Pischiutta. The picture will be an ensemble piece of interviews with Bruno Pischiutta and it will feature the best and never seen before in North America scenes chosen by the director from his most important films.

Existing projects on today's market that are similar to "Bruno Pischiutta: Film Auteur, A Retrospective", in terms of subject matter, production quality, style and format, include: "Woody Allen: A Life in Film", "Scorsese on Scorsese" and "Spielberg on Spielberg".

Toronto Pictures is now casting for its upcoming $6.1 M budget feature film titled "Glicine" (Englich: Wisteria).

"Glicine" $6.1 M

The plot deals with the sex trafficking of children in Eastern Europe.

The United Nations reports that in Eastern Europe, two million children have turned into prostitution. 90% of street children get raped on the first night, girls as young as 8 or 9 years old.

In reference to the ongoing casting for "Glicine", Ms. Trifu commented: "For all of us at Toronto Pictures, it is a privilege working under the guidance of renown Italian Director Bruno Pischiutta. The actual method of casting for our upcoming feature film is just another example of Mr. Pischiutta's unique ability to transform a classic method into an avanguarde, futuristic reality. For the first time in history, we marry the use of the internet with the Italian Neorealism way of casting and producing films. Great Italian masters such as Visconti, Pasolini and, in particular, Fellini, have adopted in the past a casting way much different from that used in Hollywood."
