The National Screen Institute's Online Short Film Festival has announced their new lineup
The National Screen Institute's Online Short Film Festival has announced their new lineup of short films, selected from a record number of submissions.
NSI programs the very best Canadian short films in their online festival that runs year round.
This new group of filmmakers is the first to be eligible for three cash awards: The Shaw Media Fearless Female Director Award ($2,500), A&E Short Filmmakers Award ($1,250), and The Bite Comedy Award ($750).

This marks the 15th official selection of films in the NSI Online Short Film Festival. A call for new submissions goes out four times a year.

Renowned for having given many emerging filmmakers, television writers and producers their first breaks, the National Screen Institute (NSI) provides training and production support through programs like NSI Totally Television, NSI Drama Prize, NSI New Voices, NSI Features First, and the upcoming NSI Aboriginal Documentary program.
