Revelation Perth International Film Festival announces Rev Rewind

Revelation Perth International Film Festival will extend its successful nineteenth season with Rev Rewind, three days of encore screenings from the festival.

Rev Rewind will run for three days from 18-20 July and will feature five of the most popular films screened during Revelation’s ten day season, which concludes on Sunday 17 July.
Leading the encores will be Weiner, the story of an American politician caught up in a sexting scandal, alongside the Italian drama Suburra.
Encore documentaries will be the exploration of a new social phenomena in Chemsex and films looking at musical legends Janis Joplin and Frank Zappa with Janis: Little Girl Blue and Eat That Question: Frank Zappa In His Own Words.
Festival Director Richard Sowada said this year’s program had been hugely popular.
“We’re really pleased to be able to present these encore screenings of some of the most popular titles of the 2016 program,” Richard said.
“It’s the final opportunity for Perth audiences to see these fantastic big-screen titles and their last taste of Rev’s international program for 12 months.”
“This opportunity shows how many people in Perth support Revelation and the films we screen.”
Revelation is proudly supported by the Australian and Western Australian Governments through Screen Australia and ScreenWest, and the City of Vincent as a presentation partner.
Rev Rewind will screen at Luna Cinema in Leederville. Festival passes will not be valid for these additional screenings and the full program and further information is available from the Revelation website at with tickets on sale from
