New programming direction at Guadalajara Film Fest and the FICG Cinematheque of the University of Guadalajara

The Guadalajara International Film Festival in  and the FICG Cineteca of UdeG restructure its programming direction

The International Film Festival in Guadalajara and the FICG Cinematheque of the University of Guadalajara, committed and interested in the permanent growth and in providing a better experience for attendees and guests, announces that from this first of May, the Programming Department will be divided into Three areas: Fiction, Documentary and Special Functions.
That is why Gerardo Salcedo will direct the Fiction section; Rodolfo Castillo-Morales will be in charge of the Documentary section (who in turn directs the DocuLab training area from FICG 34) and Esmeralda Vivas will head the special functions and screenings.
This is part of the renovation and restructuring of the Festival, with which we hope to potentiate the cinema, as well as continue with our main objective that is to spread and open windows for the national cinema.
