The 7th MALIBU INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL presented by SWT returns April 7-10 to Malibu and Santa Monica. The Malibu International Film Festival is a competition festival that focuses on premiering new films and talent that are looking for distribution and representation. Quality independent films from around world will screen and compete over the four-day event. DAY ONE (Friday April. 7, 2006)
OPENING NIGHT FILM, PARTY & FASHION SHOW
The 7th annual Malibu International Film Festival will kick off with an Opening Night Film to screen under the stars at 7:30PM followed by the lavish Opening Night Party & Fashion Show sponsored by Maui and Sons and The Sunset Restaurant at 9:00PM. Tickets are $50. (Includes film, party, and fashion show)
INDEPENDENT FILM SCREENINGS @ AERO THEATER, SANTA MONICA
In addition to the Opening Night Film in Malibu, the Festival will be screening films in Santa Monica. Opening Night screening times at the Aero Theater are 7:30PM & 9:30PM. Tickets are $10
DAY TWO (Sat. April. 8th)
FILMMAKER'S NETWORKING BREAKFAST @ JAGUAR THEATER, MALIBU

Who Attends: Festival alumni and present filmmakers and cast competing in the 2006 Festival. Filmmaking is a collaborative effort; all cast and crew members are welcome. Time: 10:00AM-11:00AM. No charge. Must RSVP by April 3 to rsvp@malibufilmfestival.org

The 7th annual Malibu International Film Festival presented by SWT will wrap up with IndieVest Awards Night Dinner Party at Taverna Tony's on Monday April 10th 7:30 PM. This will be an amazing night of awards, wine and spirits, dinner, KCRW DJ and a live performance by The Toledo Show .
