The unparalleled asset of this Festival is the representation by the International Jury, which gives filmmakers the rare opportunity to have their works judged and commented upon by such an accomplished array of distinguished filmmaking professionals.

The film submission window
will close on Monday, April 11, 2011. Due to the high number of works already entered, there will not be any deadline extensions.

I'VE SEEN FILMS will also host a section dedicated to Film Schools in cooperation with Fondazione Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia-Lombardy Branch.  This section encompasses all works submitted by Film Schools throughout the world or by individual students of such schools. The works will be selected by I've Seen Films and by Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia - Lombardy Branch. Those films chosen will then be submitted to the Festival's International Jury for a final decision and the Jury will assign a special award to this category.

Furthermore, in addition to the main film categories, there will be a section dedicated to works dealing with themes and images from Arts (painting, sculpture, theater, poetry and literature) and one dedicated to Social Awareness issues.

I'VE SEEN FILMS is organized under the patronage and cooperation of Regione Lombardia-Cultura, Provincia di Milano-Cultura and Comune di Milano-Cultura.

I'VE SEEN FILMS is creating an innovative way of linking the new millennium medium to the firmly established cultural film festival tradition, with Rutger Hauer at the helm, personally awarding the Festival winners: in the true 'I've Seen Films' tradition, the Award Evening will evolve into an unforgettable moment that makes filmmakers the real protagonists of the Festival.
