FOR THE LOVE OF FILM photo challenge - TIFF09OKAY... so far the photos going up in this group have been frickin' fantastic! but there have been very few that have been clearly inspired or influenced by film; be it genre, medium or even specific movies, actors, directors, etc. My challenge to you photogs out there is to try and capture the building during the ten days of festival with a movie moment. Look out for a Hollywood kiss... a villaneous threatening glare... or an all-out blockbuster fight scene (not that I am condoning violence... but if it happens...) You may see a celebrity lookalike (or even a celebrity! it is Festival time after all) SNAP THAT SHOT! the building has great angles that are perfect for Film Noir inspired shots, especially at sundown... or glass sides that are straight out of a B SciFi movie... Got a hankering to put on some costumes? then go out there with friends and stage a scene from your favourite movie... get your travolta/Thurman twist going from Pulp Fiction... or crack the Indy whip.... skys the limit... and during TIFF... no one will bat an eyelash... the whole city fills with cinephiles. That said... why not try and capture them... just find some movie fans and get them to pose! Lets see what you can do! http://www.flickr.com/groups/belllightbox/discuss/72157622141375484/ 31.08.2009 | Editor's blog Cat. : Ambiance CDATA Contact Details Entertainment Entertainment Film http://www.flickr.com/groups/belllightbox/discuss/72157622141375484 Human Interest Human Interest John Travolta Pulp Fiction Toronto International Film Festival Visual arts whip XML
