Singapore and the 3DX: 3D Film & Entertainment Technology Festival (3DX) – the first ever festival of its kind dedicated to stereoscopic 3D content and technologies - has announced the addition of Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) Chairman and CEO Dan Glickman to its roster of distinguished speakers.

The 3DX Festival takes place from November 19 – 23, 2008 in Singapore. It comprises a business forum, film festival, public screenings and a gala red carpet event.

The Festival is hosted by the Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA) with support from the Singapore Tourism Board, Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore and Singapore Economic Development Board. It is produced by Chabin Partners. Media organizations such as CNBC, Content Asia, The Hollywood Reporter, Motion Picture Association, NBC Universal TV Asia, Star TV India and Star Movies, TV Week, Variety are among the growing list of sponsors. Additional support is lent by Technicolor Digital Cinema, Golden Village Multiplex, Cathay Cineplexes, Shaw Theatres, Eng Wah Cinemas, Filmgarde and The Fullerton Hotel.
