Akhtem Seitablaiev was live streamed at OIFF Instagram profile

Odesa International Film Festival continues a series of live streams with representatives of the world film industry. 

 

The Ukrainian director and actor Akhtem Seitablaiev will become the third guest of the OIFF Live. The live stream will take place April 16, 8 pm Kyiv time (7 pm CET) on the OIFF Instagram page. The host of the OIFF live is Julia Sinkevich, general producer of the Odesa International Film Festival.

 

Akhtem Seitablaiev is a well-known Ukrainian actor and director. He has been acting since 2003, making his debut as a director in 2007. Three years ago the director released a drama film Cyborgs: Heroes Never Die about the Second Battle of Donetsk Airport during the War in Donbass.

 

In 2019 Seitablaiev starred in Homeward (Evge), a debut film by Nariman Aliev. The film was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. Seitablaiev's performance was critically acclaimed and well received by the audience as well as by Cannes IFF director Thierry Fremo. At the 70th Berlinale the world premiere of the film Numbers took place. The film was made in collaboration with former political prisoner Oleg Sentsov.

 

The first two OIFF Live streams hosted the artistic director of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival Karel Och and British director, producer and screenwriter Peter Webber.

 

The live stream with Akhtem Seitablaiev will take place April,16, 8 pm Kyiv time (7 pm CET) on the OIFF Instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/odesa_film_festival/.

 

The audience will be able to ask questions live. Also questions are accepted before the broadcast on the social pages of the Odesa International Film Festival on Facebook and Instagram in the comment sections of the posts announcing the live stream.
