![]() Maggie Q (Divergent trilogy, La femme Nikkita) is set to join Sir Ben Kingsley and Guy Pearce in Long Gone HeroesA-List actress Maggie Q (Divergent trilogy, La femme Nikkita) is set to join Sir Ben Kingsley and Guy Pearce in the action feature Long Gone Heroes.
The company is handling international rights to the feature written and to be directed by Santiago Manes Moreno.
Long Gone Heroes is an action-packed story of honor and redemption. At the center of the story is Gunner (Pearce), a former elite soldier turned mercenary who is haunted by the murder of two civilians during a mission in Burma. His life is turned upside down when he is hired to return to the war-ravaged country to track down the daughter of a crooked politician and face an old nemesis.
The film is produced by Santiago Manes Moreno of 7ONE7 Films and TLG Motion Pictures’ Erik Bernard, in association with Ines Mongil-Echandi of Filmtelligence and Noli Mollakuqe of Adventist Films, with financing from MEP Capital. Jay Fragus and Courtney LeMarco will serve as Executive Producers along with Mike Donovan and Ryan Charles Griffin. Production is slated to begin in Puerto Rico mid-October 2019.
“Santiago’s upcoming film is as engaging as it is a high-voltage thrill-ride. Audiences are in for a special treat of spectacular action,” commented Hamilton. “We are delighted to represent this film and look forward to seeing it in cinemas around the world soon.”
Maggie Q recently portrayed Tori Wu in Lionsgate’s dystopian science-fiction trilogy Divergent, Insurgent, and Allegiant. She also had starring roles in the action blockbuster Mission: Impossible III with Tom Cruise, Live Free or Die Hard alongside Bruce Willis, and the international hit series “Nikita.”
Maggie Q is currently repped by ICM Partners, Hilary Shor, Untitled Entertainment and Vision PR. Kingsley is represented by CAA and Genow, Smelkinson, Binder & Christopher; Pearce is represented by CAA and Sloane, Offer, Weber, and Dern.
