Rose first attracted national media attention in 2008, when, under the tutelage of James O’Keefe—the conservative provocateur who brought down ACORN—she orchestrated multiple undercover sting operations at Planned Parenthood. In a statement, Planned Parenthood said, “Live Action has a history of doctoring video [and] making false claims, and has no credibility.”

The owner turns on the house lights for the last time, as a neighboring megachurch takes over the business to bring the theater into a new era of digital projection.

On October 14, 2014, the two Eastern European countries of Albania and Serbia faced off on the soccer field in the Serbian capital of Belgrade. With Albanian fans not permitted to attend the game due to purported safety concerns, the stadium full of Serbian fans echoed racist chants and death threats. Tensions rose to a boil when a drone carrying an Albanian flag flew above the players and onto the field. Angered fans rushed the field, attacking the Albanian players, forcing the match to end. A history of political tensions, war, and sport is explored as we follow the journey of the Albanian national team on their first appearance in a major tournament.

On October 8, 2017, a hot and windy Sunday night, while the city of Santa Rosa, California slept, a massive wildfire erupted twelve miles East of town. Driven by hurricane force winds of 85 to 100 MPH the massive inferno took aim at Santa Rosa- the largest city between San Francisco and Portland, Oregon. In the span of six hours - the six hours we cover in this film - the worst disaster in California history and the most destructive fire in modern American history struck Santa Rosa. Before it was over, 7,000 homes, hundreds of businesses - large and small - and 43 people were incinerated. The "Santa Rosa Fires" were world-wide news for weeks.

Weather and Chaos: The Work Of Edward N. Lorenz

Why is it that we can predict a solar eclipse centuries in advance, but we can only predict the weather about a week or two in advance? Can a small-scale movement, like the flap of a butterfly’s wing, influence large-scale systems like hurricanes? In the 1960s, an MIT meteorologist exploring these questions with the help of early digital computers made a discovery that would change the way we understand not only weather but nearly everything in our universe. His work suggested there are certain systems we may never be able to predict, not because they are too complex, but because “chaos” is built into their underlying math. Years later, this idea would enter popular culture as “the butterfly effect.” This is the first film about Edward N. Lorenz and his role in Chaos Theory produced with the participation of scientists who worked alongside him. With their help we take a closer look at what the “butterfly effect” actually meant in the context of Lorenz’s work, and why it should make all of us rethink our understanding of our universe.

A provocative yet heartwarming story about the clash between conservatism and sexual freedom in one of Europe’s most liberal countries. We meet 52-year old Norwegian Bjørn-Tore, who fled to the big city in order to escape the everyday homophobia he experienced in his rural hometown. When the very same village is hosting Norway's first rural Pride parade, Bjørn-Tore is filled with mixed emotions about returning. Tension rise as a local church group organize an anti-LGBTQ rally, just weeks before the parade.

In 2014, Bakari Sellers–one of the youngest sitting members of the South Carolina House–campaigns to be the first African American elected to statewide office since the 1870s. He runs for Lieutenant Governor, the second highest office in the state. The son of Cleveland Sellers, a prominent 1960s Civil Rights activist who was a leading member of SNCC, Bakari understands the difficult race relations in the American South. “Our race is not about what South Carolina was, it’s not about what South Carolina is, but it’s about what South Carolina can be,” he says. But as a Democrat in a red state, Bakari has a tough race ahead. News media consistently place Bakari behind his Republican opponent, Henry McMaster. Bakari doesn't help his electability among white voters when he makes removing the Confederate Flag part of his campaign platform. But he refuses to give up. “I can’t win if I don’t run,” he states.

Most who are unfamiliar with wild wolves, don’t realize filming a wolf up close, as done by world-renowned National Geographic photographer Jim Brandenburg, is extremely rare. Wolves are elusive and avoid contactwith humans, generally remaining out of sight. Brandenburg describes a deeper understanding of wolves, along with a despondency in their decline, as they continue to be hunted.

There are two five-year-old children, who have an unrealistic dream at the quarry in India. The boy named Kumar wants to be a teacher even though he always goes to the quarry to break up stones with his family. The girl named Uma lost her father a year ago, so she lived with her disabled mother. Unfortunately, her mother started to be sick after she delivered her. These unhappy memories made Uma dream of becoming a doctor although she could not go to the school due to her house chores. The parent of both children doesn’t want to inherit any financial difficulties, but they need to hold their children’s hand to lead them to a quarry.

Throughout Kevin Gilger's years living with his wife in a storage facility apartment as an on-site manager, customers remarked on his resemblance to Duane Lee Chapman star of Reality TV's Dog the Bounty Hunter (the once popular show followed Chapman's real-life exploits as a bounty collector, but became a focus of controversy after a tape surfaced of Chapman voicing stridently racist views). In response to this happenstance, Gilger -- a part-time artist, 'lightworker', and self-described reincarnated Native American -- undertook a transformation, appropriating Chapman's image in hopes to trick the public into thinking he’s actually the reality star. However, unlike Chapman, who uses fame to market a cynical worldview, Gilger sees it as a platform for his own spiritual voice.
